On Friday, April 29, 2016, My Heart Ministries hosted an expanded “Prayer at the Pole” event at Wimer Field in Elkins, WV. My Heart Ministries is a product of a call on Dylan Dilly’s life to serve the Lord.

Just a few weeks ago, Dylan and a couple of his friends started gathering to pray at the flag pole at Elkins High School where they attend. Each morning at 7:00 a.m. they gathered, and soon more joined in. On Friday morning, there were over 30 in attendance and Elkins Mayor, Van Broughton, has even stopped by to pray.

They decided to put out a call for the community to gather and pray for Elkins and the Nation at Wimer Field at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

They were not disappointed.

Around 100 people came to pray, give thanks, and make a public statement of their Faith and their desires to serve God.

The group will be meeting again for the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 5, at 4:30 p.m. at the flagpole in front of Elkins City Hall. Click here for more information on the event and My Heart Ministries. They can also be found at facebook/myheartministires1.

Fires have been lit all across the state of West Virginia and we are seeing more and more people willing to stand for God and pray for our Nation.

From small towns like Elizabeth, Williamson, and Elkins, to a gathering of women in Clarksburg, there is a movement of Revival that has been moving throughout our state and shows no signs of slowing down.  The pace has actually increased and we believe it is the hallmark of a mighty God working among His people.
