Our Journey In Christ

Read Time:2 Minute

No eye has seen, nor ear heard, that which the Lord has prepared! Oh, how those words display the truth of the Father’s love, especially during the Christmas holiday season. Even the secular world feels its power, its draw towards something greater during this time. So much so, Christmas decorations pop up before Thanksgiving even has a chance to be celebrated.

In our journey in Christ and submitting to His will, there is something of such great importance found in Psalm 100, that it must be taught to those just entering into the Gospel, and be continually practiced by those who began this work many moons ago, that thing is, before we as Christians can enter the gates of God, we must do this…Give THANKS as we serve His will.

Psalm 100 (KJV)

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

When you have a genuine relationship with the Lord, you are no longer your own; you should serve Him with gladness and singing, knowing that you are made in His image. You are part of His flock now, and HE is the one who will feed you in His prepared pasture. The gates open with thanksgiving, and we gain justice in His courts with praise, being thankful to our Advocate, Jesus, and blessing the name of the Most High!

This Christmas and New Year, know with all your being, whether a new babe in Christ or a seasoned saint, that the Lord IS GOOD. His mercy ENDURES FOREVER. And the truth of Psalm 100, and all the Word contained in the Bible will ENDURE TO ALL GENERATIONS.

May the Love of Christ be with you and guide you as we enter into this new existence. One of great wonder and amazement at the new things He has in store for His flock, grazing in His holy field.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)

Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to you and yours!

Blessings and honor,
